Infrastructure Asset Management Plan

The 2021 Infrastructure Asset Management Plan (IAMP) Update effort was undertaken by the District to support a transition from the 2013 IAMP. The 2013 IAMP presented a prioritized plan for infrastructure assessment and replacement to meet the specific requirements of the May 13, 2013 San Francisco Bay Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB) Order No. R2-2013-0020, a Cease and Desist Order (CDO) issued to the District.

The 2021 IAMP Update is a proactive, data-driven, forward-looking, economically sustainable asset management plan. The results will enable the District to more efficiently meet its collection system regulatory requirements, anticipate and avoid structural-, hydraulic-, and operations-related failures that may not be recognized under the current program, and reduce wet weather flows to Central Marin Sanitation Agency (CMSA) through I&I reduction to meet NPDES requirements.
