Keep Hazardous Waste Out of Drains

Wastewater treatment plants cannot remove hazardous waste
and it ends up in the Bay.

Examples of common household hazardous waste include paint,
solvents, pesticides, motor oil, antifreeze, and battery fluids.

You can help by collecting your household hazardous materials
and taking them to a hazardous waste disposal center.
The Marin Household Hazardous Waste Facility is located at
565 Jacoby St. in San Rafael, which is open Monday-Saturday
